This mag.7 star belongs in a small triangle with other members of similar magnitude just East of Tau Scorpio and appears as a double in binoculars or finder. In a telescope it appears light blue with the faint 10.5mag comes clearly separated at low power.

The binocular double sit in the same field and its fainter companion is almost a mirror image with the same P.A. and contrast as the Beta 1116 system. A beautiful field.
