Sky darkness: 4+  <Limiting magnitude>
Conditions: No moon , clear, medium wind with temp. about 12º C. Haze making transparency marginal
Telescope: Meade 7" Mak-Cas mounted on
a Losmandy GM8
Eyepieces: 20mm plossel, 13mm plossel,10mm
and 6.4 plossels
Magnification: 134X, 203X, 264X and 413X
Harshaw Scale: 2 <1-5; 1 best>

I had to go up to 413X to split this double. Both components are equal but very dim with the haze. The split would come and go but it was definitely split. I marvel at the optics of the Meade 7" mak cas, great. This is a close double but shows that when the delta mag is near zero the split is much easier. Both white, rating 2.

Another good test, equal magnitude (9.3), faint and close
(1.4"). I had to exam several possible candidates in the same FOV before
I identified this. There was little if any evidence of duplicity at low
power, at mid power I got elongation, and I was able to split this, if
barely, at high power. Overall this pair appeared yellow. It is part of
a 4 star asterism, a triangle with an appendage just off the corner
formed by this pair.
