Found OSS182 by star hopping from 13 Lyr - 16 Lyr - Theta Cyg. The
view around theta Cyg was a good one, an interesting field in the binos.
OSS182 found by continuing the line theta Cyg - TYC 3564-3155-1 - OSS182.
Not easy to split this one. The companion to the W was faint, averted vision was required. I'm sure it wasn't just my imagination since the direction of the companion matched what I later found in SMP. No colour visible, estimated PA would be about 270 degrees based on the EW orientation. BTW: to the NE of theta Cyg was another interesting pair, just splittable in the binos. One component is 16 Cyg, which has a companion very close by. Both seem to have a reddish colour, and they are very close. SMP gives the companion as TYC 3565-1525-1. Separation listed at just 40", just manageable in the binos with a good tripod and clear skies.
