Star: Sh 151 (54 Virginis)
Date & Time: May 8th, 2002 01:31 UT
Seeing: 5 <1-10 Seeing Scale (10 best)>
Location of site: Escobar, Argentina.
58º30´W, 30º40´S

Sky darkness: 3-4 <Limiting magnitude>
Telescope: Celestron 8"f/10 SCT & SS2K
Eyepieces: Ultima 30 mm, Powermate 2,5x
Magnification: 71x
Once the star was located, the lower magnification (71x) split the pair easily but too close. Their colors, both white, and brightness were evident over the deep sky (grate contrast).

Nearly equal pair of white. Quite pretty.  Noted at PA approx. 35°.  Rated a 2.  Also noted another pair at 13 15, -18 55 I need to check on.

The southernst in the list. I only could see this star for 10 min
between two trees. From my latitude is so low that even a quite easy
split becomes difficult, due to the atmospheric disturbance. Split at
80x, although the image was like "floating" in the eyepiece.

This was a pretty pair, much like a pair of small, blue-white diamonds in a rather sparse field. There is a very narrow triangle of faint stars to the west, just at the edge of the low power FOV.
