was going to call this a no
split, since real time viewing showed no duplicity. But post op
stacking of 125
video frames has an elongation. However, the poor seeing is most likely
the
cause of 'lack of roundness'. But the listed 2.7 sec at 041 degrees is from 1831 and the WDS has 0.2 at 028 in 1996. Here we are 9 years later and if there was a close periastron of a highly elliptical and inclined orbit around 1996 then this elongation just might be possible. I give it only a 10% chance, 90% to poor seeing. Measured , 0.412 at 329.7 deg PA, +or- 0.03 sec and 5 degrees. ![]() |
