I ended my observing session with, in tonight's conditions, what was a "tough" pair. Both stars (aka 44 Bootis) appeared to be white with just a hint of yellow. I expect that this pair is very nice under steady skies. Even though the separation for the current epoch is 2".23 the pair spent the majority of the time unsplit. | |||

Viewed this many time, a nice
pair, now easier than a few years back, but soon to close to periastron
in 2013
and be almost impossible. Luis must be checking up on us as he listed
Struve's
1826 measure in the project data, pair has almost made a complete
revolution
since then. Measured, 1.97 sec at 055.2 deg PA.
