This multiple, also known as Izar or Epsilon Bootis, was displaying an interesting color contrast tonight. The A star had just a hint of yellow, but the B star appeared as a pale green. I found that most odd. Perhaps the seeing is playing tricks on my eyes. The white C star was very widely separated from the AB pair not too difficult to see even at 86x. Very pretty. | |||

A summer favorite, a beautiful
color contrast and close too. Never looked for the C star before and it
is
quite faint, exposing to find it totally washes out the primary pair.
