Between one small cloud and another. Not a difficult triple when these fastidious clouds are not in the field. The primary star is pretty bright, white with yellowish tone, sometime it shows a dim ring. Secondary, fairly distant, quite fainter but still well visible, with grey to yellowish hue. The third star is considerablyr more distant and very faint but still directly detectable. Extimated PA: A – B about 100 degrees, A - C about 140 - 145 degrees. A medium interest triple star.

The AB components of this system are Otto Struve 277, a very close (0".28) pair obviously not worth even contemplating on a night like tonight (or any night, given that I'm using a 6-inch glass). The AC pair was fairly easy to see as an uneven pair of white stars. When the atmosphere steadied enough, I could glimpse the 12th-magnitude D component well separated from AC and hovering to their South.
