Eyepieces: Nagler 12mm, Nagler 9mm
Magnification 67x, 97x
Harschaw's Scale: 2 <1 to 5>

A wonderful view in the large FOV's of the Naglers. There is another star of mag. 7.4 just 3' north of the pair and first looking with binoculars and with the Starfire @ 20x I thought for a moment that this was the actual pair, a bright and wide bino-double. A bit more magnification with the Starfire revealed the real pair easily. Two sharp pinpoints, but no color.

Difficult in this poor air to see the secondary, viewed again on 26 May
and split well. All appear blue in color. The C component is very faint.
Measurement, AB 4.93 sec at 133 deg PA, AC 89.66 sec at 027.4 deg PA.

Now the seeing seems improving. Easy pair although pretty close and unbalanced. Primary star quite bright, white with bluish hue. Secondary rather fainter but well visible, with a strange pinkish to orange colour. Rings not easy to see. Extimated PA from 145 to 150 degrees. Interesting and fine pair with curious colour well suited for small instruments.

The difference in magnitude is very strong. The principal one is quite visible, it secondary much less and I must use the shifted vision. The colors are white. Separation is weak, I must use the 6 mm for more comfort and obscure my bottom of sky. D is invisible in my eyes but the sky was covered very quickly. Damage, the weather did not let me continue. Now Bootes is with the top of my building....

B isn't visible in the 115/45x, the seeing seems ok with naked eye but is really poor at the telescope :[  Measured at 133°6  /  4"65 after a severe selection of measurable frames

A relatively high magnification was needed to split this pair, owing to the nearly four magnitude difference between the A and B components. At 240x the components were well-separated. The primary was white and its companion blue.
