At 300x I found this to be a pleasant-looking triple. The AB pair were yellow-tinged and red. The C star was white and well-separated from the brighter pair.

9:20pm PST. Nice separation at 109x, even nicer at 164x. About the perfect double for tonights poor air. I'm pretty sure the other stars in the FOV were too bright for the C star. No color but nice.

Conditions: ---
Sky darkness ---
Telescope: Celestron C8
Eyepieces: 25mm, 17mm, 10mm
Magnification:

The AB pair was easy to see and split but the C member was problematic. I thought I could make it out with averted vision but I can't really be sure.

Ambience: I could hear geese honking as they flew overhead. There is a modest sized lake just a few hundred yards away where they hang out, so this is not surprising.
