Telescope: Meade 16 LX200GPS
Eyepieces: not used
Imaging: DX8263SL video camera at prime focus
Magnification: app. 600x

The most famous pair in Aries, viewed for many years. Even the wide C star has been viewed before. The primary pair are a nice blue. the third component is almost too wide to fit in the big Meade FOV, so the measurement is somewhat suspect. Measures: AB 7.2 sec at 000.3 deg PA, AC 223.4 sec at 082.8 deg PA.

Seeing: 8 out of 10
Transparency: 9 out of 10
Location of site: Küssaberg-Dangstetten

Conditions: no wind, high humidity
Sky darkness: 4mag (moon)
Telescope: Celestron 8
Eyepieces: 26mm Plössel
Diagonal: Yes
Magnification: 77x

Struve 180 could be easily split. No colour. See also webcam photo.

The observations were difficult, because of the moon light Struve 180 could just be seen with  naked eye. Every 15 to 30 minutes I had to clean the Schmid plate with a hair drier.

Seeing: Pickering 4

Location: New London Township,

Site classification: Suburban/Rural
Conditions: Clear with passing clouds
Sky darkness: Not determined
Telescope: TMB152 f/7.9 Apochromatic Refractor
Mount: Losmandy G-11
Eyepieces: TeleVue Panoptic 41mm
Magnification: 29x

Sometimes I like to use the lowest possible magnification to split a pair. At 29x, both white stars were nearly in contact. The C star was easy to spot as well. It is a duller white when compaired to the AB pair.

Telescope: Takahashi FS102
Eyepieces: 10mm Ultima, 6mm ortho, 4mm ortho
Magnification: 82x, 137x, 205x

9:55pm PDT. A beautiful triple with A-B of equal magnitude and an easy 7.5 arc second separation. Fainter C was quite a ways off and makes me wonder if it's physically related. Easy at 82x and very nice at 137x.
