At first I did not detect a companion at all. Only after viewing STF838 with the superb Pentax ortho did I come back to this one and barely detect the faint companion with averted vision. It was lost using other oculars.

Ambience: A lot of porch lights to contend with tonight. Perhaps it's due to the lack of leaves on the trees but my whole backyard seemed lit up. Also the first quarter moon added some brightness. Cool (42 degF with no breeze).
