Easy wide
pair, but the companion is somewhat faint. Not much color in
the primary, but the secondary seems blue. Measured: 26.78 sec at 218.5 deg PA.![]() |

At first I did not detect
a companion at all. Only after viewing STF838 with the superb Pentax
ortho
did I come back to this one and barely detect the faint companion
with averted vision. It was lost using other oculars. Ambience: A lot of porch lights to contend with tonight. Perhaps it's due to the lack of leaves on the trees but my whole backyard seemed lit up. Also the first quarter moon added some brightness. Cool (42 degF with no breeze). |

WDS has the secondary as
11.4 magnitude, but looks like S33 stated 10.6.
Primary white, maybe hint of blue
