9mm Ortho : This pair was easily split into a white primary with a pale orange coloured companion. A nice fov with a few other stars in view too. A visual estimate of PA ( 145 degrees ) was made.
 
Ambience.
A quiet, cold night, broken only by the odd hoot from an owl in a nearby tree.  Snowdrops nearby bow their heads with cold. Me too after a few hours at the eyepiece of my telescope.
