11:10pm PDT Started getting elongation at 173x. My best view was at 327x (7mm with barlow) during brief moments of stillness. Even at that I would only call it elongation with some definition but not exactly a figure "8". Perhaps two jiggly lumps in an oval. (?)

Ambience: Mostly still, usual porch lights, tree's, shirt-sleeve warmth, waxing gibbous moon.
