Historical observation. Not from the official
period for this project.
Located at 1759-3651, consisting of a 5.7mag
star and an 8.2m star 50" apart in PA 259 (and decreasing). The primary
is a G5 giant and the companion an F0 Main Sequence dwarf. I saw
the primary as white and the comes as a sharp and deep blue (two !! in
my notes). If the pair is 365 light years away, it is about 60 times
brighter than the Sun. I observed this pair at 83x, and rated it
a 3 out of 5. This pair may be optical, however, as they have different
proper motions.

mag. 5.7/8.1, Sep 51.7". This star is nestled in the corner where Sag. CorA and Scorpio meet and is a must see. This field instantly reminded me of a field I had seen the previous night, namely that of S715/S716. Two doubles exist in the same field enhanced by a rich back-ground of stars. The primary is Light yellow and the secondary a Light Blue. To the North lie the Light Blue and Pink double of h 500. Stunning field. Fine small telescope object and easy to find.HS1. | |||

Wide and colorful pair. Very easy to spli
at lower magnifications (71x). The component A was bright and white-yellowish
and B was blue and pale. After 6
measurement, SEP=54.1º. I couldn´t
measure correctly the P.A. but I noted a decreasing value, at least lesser
than 256º.
