An extremely difficult pair
for this aperture. I could just glimpse the comes as a faint 'bump' on
the S edge of the primary, giving the illusion that the disc of the primary
was partially eclipsing a much fainter disc.
Somewhat easier x210 than x168, but very exacting at both powers. Not surprising, really, given that the true separation according to Hipparcos is actually less than 1.7"?. No colours detected. |
