I attempted to split this
pair without success several nights, but it was necessary to have an excellent
seeing to have another try.
The night was clear and deep on 20 February, I pointed the star again. I saw a single white star using 133x and 263x. Increasing the magnification to 500x it became very difficult to observe something like a trembling, little stain placed very close to the primary. I checked the observed PA
and it was correct. The view was not sharp but I'm sure of that the secondary
star had been seen.
