"33" Doubles Meeting 2000
September 1-3
Sena de Luna, Leon
"Ambience is all" (Eddy O'connor, Australia)

The following images were taken on the night of 2, September, 2000 with a Hi-8 Videocamera equipped with a built-in infrared emision system. Since image chips normally used in videocameras are sensible to this spectrum of radiation, the final result is the posibility to record images in the night without disturbing night-vision. In fact you don't even note there is a person taking images. Anyway, the range of distance for the infrared beam is up to 3 mts (about 9 feet). This is the reason some images in this page are brighter than others.

I must sincerelly say my best "thanks" to Peter Atkinson that videotaped us for almost 2 hours. About the picture quality, please take into account that infrared home-type videosystems are only black & white. Also, In order to transfer the images to the computer, a "Snappy" capturing device was used.
