Wide very apparent, if some
what faint double. No colour noted
Easy star hop from Alpha
Hydra. The targe star helps to form a delightful kite shaped asterism

Easy split at 80x although
secondary very faint just E of N. Primary white
but no colour discernible in secondary. The best view of this field was at the lowest magnification. At 50x in the LX90 the secondary became a sharp white pinprick with the pair forming one vertex of a triangle of 5 stars of brighter than eighth magnitude, the other vertices being 24 Hya to the E and Bu 212 to the NE. Rating (1(best) - 5(worst))
