Conditions: bright moon low in the southeast
Telescope: Celestron C11
Eyepieces: Plossl 10mm, LV 7mm
Magnification: 280x, 400x

The DI of 97 of this pair indicates it to be somewhat more difficult ot split than STF 2723 (DI 94). This because of the greater difference in brightness. In my case, using the C11, this was not true. BU 65 can be described as a nice and easy pair. No problem with 280x and actually a real pretty pair at 400x.

another one not cleanly split, lumpy, but not even enough to call it a peanut

Foiled at all powers and with both scopes over several evenings.  This one has got my number.  Will have to try with 8.5” refractor on a better evening.

Real difficult due to the poor seeing and magnitude difference. Secondary is just a faint blob. Measurement 1.4 sec at 207.5 deg PA with uncertainty of 0.2 sec and 7 degrees.

I might have gotten a possible elongation with the 6.5mm (312X)
but I wouldn't stake my reputation on it.
