Magnitudes: 7.2 (A2 V), 9.6
Sep/PA's: 29" / 337 - First measure: 23.8" / 335 (Secchi). Espin measured 29.3" / 338 in 1914. Distance (light years): 990 Luminosity (suns): 111 Eyepiece and magnification: 20mm, 104x, with mask Colors: yO and dB! (Webb saw them as rY and G. Secchi saw them as R and B!! and called them "colori superbi." Oh, the imaginations of the classical astronomers!) Very bright, rich field with many pairs.

It’s a rather open double with evident difference in magnitude
between
components. It’s so easy to split that is even a bit bored. Another double is located on the same field of view at 100x with the main component rendered as orange. The coloration of the main component of h1470 is yellow. Coloration of secondary not recorded.
