Mag. 7.6/8.4; Sep. 2". Look
for this close number in a zygal-shaped cluster of stars South of Beta
Ceti. The primary star is a dull White and the Pale Grey companion is just
detected at high

Fairly easy to find as the
primary is relatively bright. Some hint of elongation at low power, definately
elongated at mid power and split at high power. Not sure about the color
on this, sometimes it seemed yellow, but occasionally it seemed blue!?
But the more I looked
at it, the more I felt yellow was the true color.

This wide pair was an easy
target with the 24 Pan. Star A appeared white to me while star B displayed
no identifiable color, at least in my eye. While viewing this pair I noticed
another wide pair at 338 degrees and about 20' from Struve 3. I could not
find this pair on any doubles list. I did, however, find it (I think) using
the "Starry Night" software. If I am correct, it is listed as
HIP5759 and 5760. Mag 7.5 and 10.9, sep 20", PA 345.7. I would like to hear from anyone who can confirm or refute this.
