This is a challenging(for that read extremely difficult!) object to locate in a confetti of dim stars SW of Beta Ceti. The eyepiece field was strangely empty which helped in spotting the very dim companion, just glimpsed wide.

NW side. Estimated PA 30°. Appears as part of a triangular asterism
with 2 other stars. The primary appeared white, with perhaps a tinge of
yellow.

The
video camera is black and white so no color can be noted. This double consists
of two components almost two magnitudes in difference and it was readily
noted on the screen. Closer split noted on laptop screen. Theta
= 25.4º and rho = 6.34"
