I love these wide pairs. This double lies just north of Xi and is located
by gyrating between two fine finder triangles of stars.
Leave yourself a good ten minutes to locate this one and much neck exercise is required in southern latitudes Comments: I found the 9 mag. companion to this 7 mag. primary very faint indeed. It was worth the effort as the contrasting Orange and Dark Blue colours are delightfully placed in a triangle of wider companions. Low power only as there was much washing out at X144. HS2 |
