Site classification: Rural
Temperature: 56°F at 10pm CDT, dropping to
50°F by 3:15am CDT
Sky darkness:  10/10 (Thompson Scale)
Conditions: Not too much dew; extreme
Lunar interference; generally pleasant
Telescope: Meade 8" f/10 LX-10 (Snoopy )
Eyepieces: 32mm, 13.8mm, 9mm, 5mm
Magnification: 63x, 147x, 226x, 406x

The pair is located at the lower right corner of  *another* keystone asterism. the asterism itself is located to the lower left of open cluster NGC 1027.

At 63x, the pair is slightly gold.
147x brought a black split, more easily seen at 226x.

Telescope: Takahashi FS-102
Mount: Vixen GP + Skysensor 2000
Eyepieces: 9mm Nagler, 5mm and 3.8mm Eudiascopics
Diagonal: Zeiss prism diagonal
Magnifications: 91x, 164x, 215x

I center it first with the 9mm Nagler at 91x, noting only a orange hue. Some minutes of arc away there is another interesting and nice double where I would estimate about magnitude 7 for the primary and about 8.5 for the secondary with a separation about 5 seconds of arc.

Switching to the 5mm Eudiascopic, the split is clear for some moments with a "black hair" between components. The most interesting side of this double is its orange-yellow hue. The difference of magnitudes is clear.

I would like to point out that with the given observing conditions and the relative low altitude over the horizon, this double is a bit hard to split. Nevertheless, I suspect it would be childs' play for this telescope to split this at about 165x with more favourable conditions.
