Assuming I was looking at
the right star, I was not able to split it tonight. Occasionally at high
power I thought I could detect signs of elongation, but this may be wishful
thinking.

Could not split with my
8 inch. Did not have trouble with .8 sec on
STF1126 so checked the WDS orbit catalog and found that the projected separation is 0.38 sec at 50 deg in Feb 2002. So I suspect this one will be difficult to get. Will have to haul out the Big gun if the weather improves.
