located moving 3º east from UU Aurigae to the distinctive triangle of 6th magnitude stars, 59, 60 and 61 Aurigae, and then a further 2º southeast: Close binocular double and just split with 15 x 50 IS binoculars. Pair of white stars, well separated. The WDS lists 4 other faint companions, will have to look for these some other time. Measurement, 27.79 sec at 55.1 deg PA.

Well, that was it got fogged out at 9pm, without getting to the nutcrackers. Hope the sky will clear again soon.
