Sky conditions
seeing--  8 out of 10 (at times, approaching 9)
transparency-- 7 out of 10 (high, thin and spotty clouds, taking perhaps 1magnitude from the starlight)
limiting visual magnitude-- 4.0 mag
Telescope: Celestron C-8
Eyepiece: 12.5mm MicroGuide, 166x

Year of first measurement:  1831, 23.6 / 327

Luminosity (in suns):  5
Eyepiece and magnification:  12.5mm MicroGuide, 166x
Colors noted:  Y and O.
I made six pairs of separation and PA measures using the Micro-Guide and got an average of 19.1" in PA 339.
There is a 14m companion to B at 4.6" @ 187.

Telescope: 102mm f/5 achromat on Vixen Custom D altaz mount.
Magnification: 45x (22mm Vixen SW with 2x Barlow).

Easy to locate. Adjacent to xi (46) And.  Both components were fairly dim but clearly seen. Tiny headlights in need of a stronger battery. No color noted.

Location of site: Flat Iron observing site
Date of observations (UT): Nov 18(19)th, 2000
from 2:00 to 9:30
Site classification: Rural
Seeing: 7 <1-10 Seeing Scale (10 best)>
Sky darkness: 6.2 <Limiting magnitude>
Telescope: 90mm Meade ETX on
an AltAz mount.
Eyepiece(s): 32mm Meade Super Plossl,
15mm & 10mm Vixen Lantanum, 2x shorty barlow.
Magnification(s): 39x, 83x, 125x, 166x, 250x

39x is obvious.  A nice pair in a nice field, but easily made out. Comp is just slightly fainter at about 5°, later refined to 355° with 83x.

It´s a delicate faint double. Magnification of 100x give the best view, then I evaluated better its colour. Star A seemed yellow and Star B a pale orange. Using the MicroGuide (at 80x and 263x) an average of five measures gave a PA for the secondary star of 334º4 and the separation was 19"57 arcsecs.
Rating: 4

Seeing: -- <1-10 Seeing Scale (10 best)>.
Location of site: Annen, The Netherlands (53 N, 6 E)
Site classification: Village-backyard

Conditions: Now and then some clouds
Temperature: -2ºC
Telescope: Meade LX10 (8" SCT)
Eyepieces: TV 40mm, Meade 25mm, TV 20mm, Vixen LV 7mm

A wide white white pair. Low magnification (50x) gives the best view, the surrounding starfield is rich, the pair itself not very interesting.
